Theme 2: My World and Others

This month we will be studying people who live in or have traveled to other places. You will be reading the book:

David Livingstone, Africa's Trailblazer

by Janet and Geoff Benge

As a class you will complete activities that supplement the reading of this book online. You will complete your DOLs and your vocabulary online as a group instead of working from a worksheet independently. You will also type your sticky notes on the computer. As an introduction, you will complete a KWL chart of your knowledge of the continent of Africa. This theme you will be creating a timeline and write a paragraph about what the Bible says about how we should treat each other.

I can see any changes you make to any pages. Do not make changes to anything that I have put on the pages. Post your own comments and answers. The consequence for misconduct will be loss of privileges on the page and reversion to worksheets for the guilty individual(s).

Every student must participate. Share responsibilities and do not try to do everything on the page yourself. Again, those who want to do everything could do it all on paper. This is a way for all the students to work together.
